Visit Finland is proud to announce that tourism to Finland continues to increase. In 2018, there was an increase of 1.6 percent, which meant that the total number of overnight stays reached 6.8 million.
The largest market is European tourists, which make up 53% of the total visitors. However, Asia continues to grow rapidly, with 16% of visitors arriving from Asian countries.
As was to be expected, the holiday season attracted the most international visitors.
