Are you looking for an interesting internship within marketing and communications where you get to facilitate the cooperation between Finnish and Dutch businesses? We offer internships to driven and motivated students twice a year, spring and autumn semester. Additionally, the possibility of a summer internship is also open for negotiation.

Internship opportunity: Marketing and Communications trainee at FDCC

Join the Finnish Dutch Chamber of Commerce (FDCC) as a Marketing and Communications intern in the Netherlands. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with part-time or full-time options available. Recruitment is ongoing, with two annual internship start dates around January 15th and August 15th. The internship typically lasts for approximately 6 months, unless otherwise arranged.

The FDCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering Finnish-Dutch business relations. However, at FDCC, we’re not just about business; we’re about forging meaningful connections between Finnish and Dutch enterprises. As an intern, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, engaging directly with our diverse community of members and stakeholders. Picture yourself rubbing elbows with industry leaders, representing the FDCC at exciting events, and collaborating with our Nordic partners to make waves in the business world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing FDCC events
  • Content development; Manage web editing, social media marketing, and newsletters
  • Develop and implement communication and social media strategies
  • Member relationship management
  • Administration, process documentation and improvement
  • Research and analysis
  • Contribute to long-term business planning
  • Communication and collaboration with Team Finland and other Nordic associations
  • Represent the FDCC at various events

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Finnish, Swedish or Dutch
  • Full fluency in English
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal)
  • Motivated, with initiative and ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and exceptional time management
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Confidence in representing at events
  • Experience in international environments is advantageous

  • Unpaid internship; Erasmus+ scholarship funding / grant from Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce’s trust recommended if applicable.
