DESCRIPTION:Click here  ( https://flic.kr/s/aHsmJUdE1z )for the photo gallery!\nFinnish Independence Day Celebrations 2019\nIt is a pleasure to invite you to celebrate Finland’s 102 years of independence together with Embassy of Finland, Vereniging Nederland-Finland, Finnish Dutch Chamber of Commerce and the Seamen’s Mission\n7th of December 2019 at the Finse Huis, Rotterdam\nThis year, we are offering you three different events during the same evening – please choose the one which sounds the most appealing to you!\nChurch Hall\nYou can enjoy a 5 course Independence Day menu including wines, or your favourite beverage, served to the table. The menu is made of the best of fresh ingredients and includes the classics with a new twist.  The program of the evening will include various elements such as a speech by Ambassador Päivi Kaukoranta and live music by a Finnish trio.  At the bar you can enjoy your favourite drink. \nMenu:\n\nThree colored beetroot salad with goat´s cheese mousse and spruce sprout syrup vinaigrette\nJerusalem artichoke soup with smoked reindeer and tarragon oil, served with home baked potato bread\nSalmon cooked on open fire with parsnip and fresh peas\nRoast beef with celeriac puree, lingonberries and Cumberland sauce\nLappish home cheese with cloudberry jam, buckthorn-white chocolate pannacotta.\nThe menu is also available vegetarian and/or gluten free. All the ingredients will be low on lactose.\n\nProgram:\n\nTime: 17.30 – 21.00 Hrs\n\n17:30    Welcome reception with an aperitive\n18:15    Independence Day menu and the program of the evening\n21:00    End of the Event\nAfter the dinner you can join the less formal celebration at the Winter Bar in the garden.\nParticipation fee\n\nMembers €60 p.p.\n\nNon-Members €75 p.p.\n\nThe dress code is free.\nThe first 55 registered participants can to join this celebration.\n \nVinke Zaal\nHere you can enjoy a festive typical Finnish three course Independence Day menu, including two glasses of wine or your favourite beverage, served to the table. Other drinks can be purchased at the bar. This informal dinner will be atmospheric with Finnish Violin music in this art deco style room. Ambassador Päivi Kaukoranta will bring her greetings to the event.\n Menu: \n\nStarter of smoked salmon and mushroom salad on a rye cracker\nReindeer stew with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and pickles\nLappish home cheese with cloudberry jam Buckthorn-white chocolate pannacotta.\nThe menu is also available vegetarian and/or gluten free.
